Our client, a thriving and well-recognised name in the Australian travel industry, is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Sales Executive to join their Melbourne team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned travel professional with a strong industry network who's ready to take the next exciting step into a sales-focused role. If you're looking to combine your travel expertise with the thrill of building business relationships and driving growth, this could be the perfect move for you!
As a key face of the brand, you'll be out and about a few days each week, meeting with travel agencies, strengthening relationships, and uncovering new business opportunities. You'll also receive ongoing training to deepen your product expertise, ensuring you're always ahead of the game and fully equipped to inspire and support your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your existing travel industry connections to nurture and grow key client relationships
- Deepen engagement with current accounts, ensuring long-term loyalty and satisfaction
- Confidently pitch and present to new clients through compelling communication-whether by email, phone, video call, or face-to-face meetings
- Drive results with a goal-oriented mindset, celebrating wins and always pushing for growth
- Hit the road to connect with clients in person, represent the brand, and uncover exciting new opportunities
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
- 3+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a solid understanding of the landscape
- Proven track record in account management, with a flair for building lasting relationships
- Confident communicator with a natural talent for presenting and selling in any setting
- Motivated by goals, with a positive, engaging personality that clients remember
- Full driver's license and own vehicle - ready to hit the road and connect with clients face-to-face
