Travel Product Executive

$70-80k + Super

Ready to move beyond consulting and step into the world of travel product?

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially curious travel professional to join a fast-paced wholesale product team and play a hands-on role in developing, managing and evolving a destination portfolio. Ideal for someone with 1-2 years' product exposure or an experienced leisure consultant ready to step into product, this role offers real ownership, learning and long-term career progression.

You'll work closely with suppliers, sales and marketing to build compelling travel packages, identify product gaps and help bring innovative itineraries and deals to market.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the product requirements for a designated portfolio of destinations
  • Identifying gaps and opportunities within the wholesale range to create competitive, differentiated travel products
  • Supporting the development of new packages, deals and destination offerings
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and industry partners
  • Assisting with contract negotiations, costings and margin management
  • Conducting product performance reviews and contributing to commercial strategy
  • Producing wholesale product content, including pricing, copy and image selection for brochures and marketing materials
  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to maximise product visibility, availability and campaign performance
  • Participating in supplier training, events and industry engagements
  • Staying across market trends to ensure the product offering remains current, relevant and exciting

About you

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the travel industry
  • 1-2 years' experience in product, wholesale or contracting or strong leisure consulting experience (5 years) with a clear desire to move into product
  • Solid destination knowledge (Australia and/or international)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building supplier and internal relationships
  • Commercially minded with an interest in pricing, margins and product performance
  • Comfortable working with data and systems, including strong Excel skills
  • Proactive, organised and able to think laterally in a fast-moving environment
