Destination Manager - International Travel

Melbourne | Full-time | Hybrid (3 WFH / 2 Office)
$80,000 - $90,000 + Super + Incentives

An established travel business is seeking an experienced Destination Manager to oversee an international travel product portfolio. You will take ownership of an international travel product portfolio, working closely across travel operations, sales and marketing to ensure products are delivered seamlessly and perform strongly from both a customer experience and commercial perspective.

This opportunity suits an experienced travel operations professional who enjoys end-to-end product ownership, operational problem-solving and contributing to the ongoing development of high-quality travel products.

The Role

• Manage travel product operations, including itineraries, bookings, changes and cancellations
• Oversee day-to-day travel operations across an international product portfolio
• Liaise with overseas suppliers to confirm availability, pricing and operational delivery
• Act as the internal expert for travel product, operations and destination knowledge
• Deliver travel products within agreed margins and financial KPIs
• Support sales teams with product, travel and operations expertise
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve travel operations issues
• Contribute to product development, process improvement and operational efficiencies

About You

• Strong background in travel operations, travel product or destination management
• Broad international travel destination knowledge
• Solid understanding of product pricing, margins and supplier costings
• Experience using travel reservation systems
• Highly organised with excellent operations and time management skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused and commercially minded
• Confident communicator who collaborates effectively across product, travel and operations teams
