We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join a growing Australian-based travel business specialising in group, experiential, and event-based travel. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering exposure to international programs, group travel coordination, sporting events, educational travel, and VIP travel experiences.

The role will see you coordinating end-to-end travel arrangements including flights, land content, insurance, and group logistics for a diverse client base including schools, clubs, organisations, and premium travellers.

The Role

• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements from start to finish
• Manage group travel logistics for schools, clubs, and organisations
• Book flights, accommodation, insurance, transfers, and land arrangements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
• Deliver exceptional customer service and travel support throughout the booking journey
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute to business growth through a consultative approach
• Work across a variety of travel experiences, events, and programs
• Occasionally travel domestically or internationally to support group departures and VIP experiences

What We're Looking For

• Strong sales mindset combined with a customer-first approach
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities simultaneously
• Minimum 2 years' experience using Sabre GDS (not negotiable)
• Previous travel consulting experience within retail, wholesale, groups, or events travel
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused attitude
• Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and changing environment

Highly Regarded

• Experience living or working abroad
• Experience working with sporting teams, educational organisations, touring, or events
• Group travel coordination experience
• Passion for travel, events, and unique travel experiences
