Business Development Manager | Travel Industry

A leading global Travel brand is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across VIC, SA, TAS & WA.

This is a senior Travel sales role focused on building strong agency relationships, growing market share and driving Travel revenue across retail, wholesale and direct Travel channels.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding distribution, increasing passenger numbers and strengthening Travel trade partnerships across your territory.

You'll work closely with Travel agents, wholesalers and internal sales and marketing teams to deliver strategic Travel sales initiatives and long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new Travel business opportunities within your territory
  • Manage and grow existing Travel agency relationships
  • Drive Travel sales performance, passenger numbers and revenue targets
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual Travel sales meetings
  • Educate and train agents on Travel products, systems and campaigns
  • Partner with marketing to deliver effective Travel promotions
  • Negotiate and support Travel group sales opportunities
  • Attend industry Travel events, roadshows and trade functions
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market insights

About You

  • Experience in Travel industry sales or business development
  • Strong background working with Travel agencies and distribution networks
  • Proven ability to grow Travel revenue and market share
  • Confident presenter with excellent Travel sales communication skills
  • Strategic, commercially minded and highly organised
  • Comfortable with frequent Travel, including evenings and weekends
