What's the role all about?
You'll be in a pivotal leadership position, responsible for building, coaching, and inspiring a high-performing travel sales team. From shaping sales processes and setting performance standards, to mentoring consultants and driving results-you'll play a pivotal role in creating a motivated, target-driven culture from the outset.
You'll collaborate closely with marketing and operations to help refine the customer journey, improve conversion rates, and ultimately deliver incredible travel packages across the globe.
A Day in the Life:
- Handle overflow inbound sales enquiries and turn them into bookings
- Be the standard-setter for performance and sales best practices.
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a growing team of travel sales consultants.
- Monitor and optimise team performance using data-driven insights.
- Work with marketing to ensure lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Shape sales strategy, including scripting, objection handling, and follow-ups.
- Transition into a full-time leadership role as the team grows.
About You:
- Sales experience ideally in the travel industry or in high-value B2C.
- A proven track record of converting leads into happy customers.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a travel sales team.
- Strategic and analytical mindset-you love processes and performance metrics.
- Motivated, resilient, and proactive-you get things done and bring others with you.
- Excellent communicator with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Solid knowledge of travel destinations and international products.
