Travel Team Leader - Cruise

Melbourne CBD | Hybrid | $85K + Super + Uncapped Earnings

Are you an experienced Leisure Travel Manager with a passion for cruise and luxury travel, ready to step into a hands-on leadership role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, fast-paced travel business servicing an established portfolio of high-end, loyal repeat clientele. With a huge volume of cruise enquiries, particularly across the luxury end of the market, you'll combine your love of selling incredible holidays with the opportunity to lead, motivate and support a talented team.

This is not a face-to-face retail environment. You'll work from a state-of-the-art Melbourne CBD office, with hybrid flexibility, looking after clients remotely and creating exceptional luxury holidays across cruise, leisure and tailor-made travel.

THE ROLE

• Lead and support a busy team of experienced leisure travel consultants
• Remain hands-on with sales, managing your own enquiries and bookings
• Sell an exciting mix of luxury cruise, premium leisure and tailor-made holidays
• Work with a fantastic portfolio of loyal, repeat and high-value clientele
• Manage a strong volume of inbound enquiries - no cold calling!
• Motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets
• Provide coaching, guidance and day-to-day support
• Deliver exceptional service while maximising every sales opportunity
• Work across a broad range of premium and luxury travel products and cruise lines

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong previous retail/leisure travel consulting experience
• A genuine love of cruise, with good cruise product knowledge
• Experience selling luxury and premium travel
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong GDS skills
• A highly sales-driven and commercially minded approach
• Confident managing high-value bookings and discerning clientele
• Energetic, motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
• A natural ability to motivate others while still leading from the front
