JOB DESCRIPTION:

Work within a small team of travel consultants, this is a very friendly business with lots of support and career development opportunities. There is no cold calling, all warm inbound enquiry & your role will be assist the customer from start to finish to build a more personalised experience!

If you have a GDS knowledge, you will use that to your advantage in booking wholesale & promotional flight packages for the customers as well as any pre / post tour options.

If you do not have a GDS, you will be in great hands with a professional trainer who will support you in the development of that skill set.


Your day to day job as a Travel Cruise Consultant is to ensure all inbound enquiries are answered, converting quotes and making bookings.

- Booking fly / cruise packages
- FIT land arrangements
- Group touring
- Insurance & add ons


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


Full product training will be provided however, previous industry knowledge in a travel consulting role or as a cruise specialist is essential - MIN 3 years or if you have less experience, please highlight your achievements.

- Ideal candidate will have dealt with the direct public as a travel consultant or cruise specialist
- Knowledge of Princess, P&O, Cunard, Carnival, HAL, Royal, Celebrity & River Cruising knowledge will be highly regarded



PACKAGE:

A solid base salary depending on Experience and skills. Starting salary will be from $45k-$50k + super and comms is paid on deposited bookings.

You will have also the opportunity to earn a further $5k after 6 months probation period.

Flexible lunch breaks, morning & afternoon tea breaks.
