The role of the Inventory Analyst is to optimise revenue through the management of locally deployed ships inventory and work closely with the revenue analysts to ensure maximum revenue and minimal cabin spoilage.
The Inventory Analyst works closely with the local revenue team as well as Head Office revenue management and provides support to local stakeholders including but not limited to the Guest Relations and Operations teams
DUTIES:
*Inventory Management - optimize available inventory and maximize load factor on all
Australia and Singapore homeport ships.
*Masked Bookings - manage the optimization of our inventory through the use of masked berthing. Troubleshoot booking issues.
* Segmentation - Coordinate requests with key stakeholders for group downline approval and segmented bookings.
*SOLAS Reporting
*Redeployment / Itinerary Modifications - assist with the management of all redeployment and itinerary modifications for affected guest bookings.
*Oversell Resolution / Downgrades / Recalls
*Operations - work with all parts of the organisation to meet customer satisfaction and retention goals during normal and extraordinary events
*Reporting - provide adhoc revenue reporting and analysis which interprets revenue performance for the Australasia markets
*Liaise with Head Office - establish and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders in Revenue Management. Support the revenue analysts when required

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsibility for delivering the annual guest and revenue plan
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor's degree in business or finance related topic preferred
*2 years in an analytical or commercial role
*Experience gained within the travel industry is preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
*Understanding of revenue management concepts
*Proven experience using analytical or business intelligence tools (i.e. Brio / Hyperion )
*MS Excel to intermediate or advanced level.
*Attention to detail
*Strong personal organisation required & ability to work to deadlines
*An ability to demonstrate sound judgement and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
