Luxury Travel Specialist

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Travel Consultant to join a growing Australian-owned travel company specialising in bespoke, high-end travel experiences.

In this role, you will manage tailored itineraries from initial enquiry through to post-travel follow-up, delivering a highly personalised level of service throughout the client journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quote and coordinate tailored itineraries based on client briefs, budgets and individual travel styles.
  • Manage new and repeat client enquiries while building genuine rapport and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Design bespoke itineraries while providing expert destination and product recommendations.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming departures, identifying and resolving any potential disruptions or operational issues as they arise.
  • Manage amendments, schedule changes and client updates throughout the booking process.
  • Maintain accurate booking information across CRM and internal systems.
  • Prepare final travel documentation and client travel packs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners.
  • Stay informed on the latest luxury travel products and experiences through research, supplier training and industry events.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients while travelling, including responding to urgent matters when required.

About You:

  • Previous experience within luxury travel, tour operations or complex FIT travel environments.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury travel products across accommodation, touring, transport and experiences.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bookings and competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with clients, travel advisors and suppliers.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to take ownership of bookings from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional, highly personalised travel experiences.
