We're seeking an Operations Manager to lead a small, passionate team specialising in delivering unforgettable group travel experiences. This senior-level position plays a key role in overseeing operations and ensuring seamless delivery for international guests, with a strong focus on the European market.
This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on leadership, logistics, and elevating the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a dedicated team of Tour Coordinators, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality group tours
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and maintaining high service standards
- Coordinate coach logistics, working closely with transport operators, drivers, and tour guides
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that arise during tour execution
- Manage tour budgets, identify efficiencies, and maintain profitability without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to meet annual targets and strategic goals
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in tour operations or travel management (inbound preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Solid knowledge of the Australian tourism market and suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Familiarity with Tourplan is advantageous
- German language skills are a bonus
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the business
