Fares and Travel Consultant
Location: Sydney CBD | Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: $70K - $75K + Super

Are you an experienced Airfare and Product Specialist looking to join a respected travel team in Sydney? In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for all airfare and product-related inquiries, providing outstanding service and expert guidance to customers and internal teams alike.

You'll collaborate closely with airline partners while keeping up to date of airfare offerings to ensure the company consistently delivers market-leading rates to its loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter customer and fare information into PNRs to enable seamless integration with internal booking systems
• Manage all pre-departure requirements, including documentation checks, schedule changes, waivers, and GDS SSR remark entry
• Liaise with airline partners and third-party suppliers to promptly resolve ticketing issues
• Monitor market airfares to maintain competitive, market-leading pricing
• Leverage product knowledge to promote airfare deals, travel packages, and special offers, driving sales growth
  
  

About You:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the travel industry, with strong GDS skills and expertise in airfare sales
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Deep understanding of airfare construction, ticketing procedures, and airline policies
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and industry partners
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and adept at managing multiple priorities with timely follow-up
