A reputable travel company are now seeking an experienced Ticketing Consultant to co-ordinate all ticketing and administration requirements in a timely manner, fundamental to the smooth running of the department.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
You role will include but is not limited to:
*Ensuring that the correct flights have been booked for each passenger, according to tour dates and any additional arrangements.
*Checking and advising Reservations of better connections/flight options.
*Preferably with knowledge and practise on Amadeus.
*Printing quote and deposit reports to ensure flights have been booked for all new passengers.
*Ticketing on wholesale and published fares
*Manage queues daily
-Check that all bookings are created correctly
-Check ticketing time limits
-Confirmations
-Schedule changes
-Cancellations
-Advanced bookings
-Special requests
*Handle phone and email enquiries from both internal and external customers.
*Assists Reservations with fare differences, upgrades, flight availability, cancellations, ect.
*Assists Operations with special requests; seats and meals, wheelchair, exit row seating, medical requests, etc.
*Ensuring thorough and accurate information is provided to internal and external customers.
*Assist Customer Relations in resolving any flight issues overseas
*Assist with creating flights sheets at brochure production stage
*Adding frequent flyer numbers to bookings.
*Reissuing of airline tickets
*Processing cancellations
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:
My client is looking for an experienced travel professional ideally with ticketing experience and solid knowledge of GDS systems and nett fares. The successful candidate will be well organised and able to work to deadlines.
Ideally you will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to be a team player. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail. You will need to have the ability to read and understand airline tickets and fare related terms and conditions.
