My client is Australia leading cultural tour operator, specialising in tours across the globe

The Client Relationship Department provides the initial response to telephone calls, emails and letters and is key to building good relationships with new and existing clients.

To succeed in this role you need to be quick to learn and thorough, bright and articulate on the phone and in writing, flexible and a team-player. An interest in Arts (Art, Music, Opera, Ballet, Dance, etc ) is highly desirable



RESPONSIBILITIES

* Promote newly-announced tours
* Launch new tour brochures
* Answer incoming client enquiries
* Process client bookings
* Confirm tour member details and payments
* Managing, fielding and responding to client feedback and complaints
* Other duties as required


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Practical travel industry experience essential (ie travel consulting)
* Sabre GDS experience essential
* Customer service experience highly advantageous
* Experience of professional environment providing high-end travel services advantageous
* Some accounting/ money handling experience advantageous
* Client service- and sales-oriented
* A 'can do' attitude, and ability and confidence to solve problems
* A confidence to advise and steer clients, but also able to listen with empathy
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Impeccable spoken and written English
* Interest in the Arts desirable but not essential
