Ticketing Consultant required. Do you have a flair for fares?! Can you ticket on GDS from start to finish?!

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

You role will include but is not limited to:

*Ensuring that the correct flights have been booked for each passenger, according to tour dates and any additional arrangements.
*Checking and advising Reservations of better connections/flight options.
*Preferably with knowledge and practice on Sabre.
*Printing quote and deposit reports to ensure flights have been booked for all new passengers.
*Ticketing on wholesale and published fares
*Manage queues daily
-Check that all bookings are created correctly
-Check ticketing time limits
-Confirmations
-Schedule changes
-Cancellations
-Advanced bookings
-Special requests
*Handle phone and email enquiries from both internal and external customers.
*Assists Reservations with fare differences, upgrades, flight availability, cancellations, ect.
*Assists Operations with special requests; seats and meals, wheelchair, exit row seating, medical requests, etc.
*Ensuring thorough and accurate information is provided to internal and external customers.
*Assist Customer Relations in resolving any flight issues overseas
*Assist with creating flights sheets at brochure production stage
*Adding frequent flyer numbers to bookings.
*Reissuing of airline tickets
*Processing cancellations

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

- Two years experience in a fares & ticketing role
- Sabre experience plus either Galileo or Amadeus
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of fare rules
