We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservations Team Leader / Manager to join a dynamic team in New Zealand. This permanent, full-time role will involve managing the daily operations of the office, leading a team of travel consultants, and ensuring exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the office, maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive workplace culture
• Lead and mentor the reservations team, ensuring effective training, development, and performance monitoring
• Manage and coordinate travel reservations, including tailoring itineraries, securing bookings, and handling client inquiries
• Maintain accurate records and reports for team performance, service levels, and bookings
• Ensure compliance with company policies, managing administrative tasks such as office supplies, payroll, and staff onboarding/offboarding
• Participate in hands-on travel consulting and support the team with customer bookings, queries, and issue resolution

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and ensure operational efficiency
• Experience in travel consulting, with hands-on involvement in booking flights, accommodation, and other travel components
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet sales and service targets and contribute to team performance
• Experience in HR functions, including payroll and staff management
• Previous experience in the travel industry preferred
