Established under 10 years - this brand has opened its doors in AUS end of 2016 with a handful of consultant & now they have over 100 staff members in their Australia offices!! Operating in over 7 countries and counting.... Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced travel industry professional with sound knowledge of ideally Galileo to be apart of another growth spurt.


Job Purpose:

This role is key in ensuring all flight bookings and related queries are dealt with in an efficient manner and with great accuracy as to support the growth and success of the brand


Duties:

*Support all areas of Australia and New Zealand businesses with aviation queries by phone, email & face to face with internal staff in a polite and friendly manner

*Issue all manner of airline tickets accurately and on time via multiple ticket consolidators

*Ability to process amendments (ADCOL) as required of existing flight bookings and demonstrate ability to accurately answer questions including but not limited to: pricing, routing, fare restrictions and aviation product related queries.

*Quote, track and monitor airline refunds. Sourcing waivers to protect the business as required. Monitor & take ownership of financial exceptions & finding amicable solutions.

*Daily clearance and queue management, including but not limited to automated airline responses, airline schedule changes and ticketing TTL for all bookings ensuring open communication surrounding concerns to the Aviation Manager.

*Ensuring accurate input and recording of all transactions into the central reservation system ensuring adherence to both the company & IATA financial procedures.

*Low Flight deposit administration, department credit card usage and management of available credit for with ticketing consolidator/s, requesting increases as required.

*Tracking Airline revenue by accurate log of profits and losses.

*Processing name changes, name corrections, remedying any booking errors amongst other reasonable ad-hoc tasks. Identifying risks to the business & reporting to Aviation Manager as required.

*Actively remaining apprised of aviation market developments within Asia Pacific.

*Maintaining exceptional channels of communication with internal departments both locally & abroad and communicating closely with local Aviation Manager

*Occasional meetings with airline representatives and industry stakeholders

*Approximately on-call 1 weekends out of each calendar month as per on-call procedure document

*Assistance with other tasks as reasonably required

*Relief duties for Groups Executive where required in circumstance of planned or unplanned leave.



Ideal Skillset:

*Bonafide airfare guru

*A natural forward planner who critically assess own performance

*Reliable, tolerant and determined

*Open to new experience, responsibility and accountability

*Ability to self-manage, work autonomously & with integrity

*Ability to be a team player and the ability to get along with others

*Ability to work extended hours when reasonably required

*Adept in the use of Microsoft office suite

*Must have good organisational skills, be thorough and a keen eye for detail

*Display the ability to effectively communicate relevant information across the business where necessary

*Excellent working knowledge of fare construction, airline fare rules interpretation as well as airline ticket issuing processes

* A salary package of $65k will be offered to the right candidate. Extra income can be
made in this role by taking on more on call support.
