We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Travel Accountant to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in managing financial operations. If you have a passion for travel, a strong aptitude for numbers, and experience using Xero and Tourplan systems, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Use Xero and Tourplan systems to track, record, and report financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business decisions.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting and invoice processing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
• Proficiency with Xero and Tourplan systems is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
