The Opportunity

Are you an experienced air ticketing professional who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting others and finding better ways of working?

This is an opportunity to step beyond routine bookings and use your ticketing expertise in a specialist operational role with a leading travel business.

Working within Global Supply, you'll help resolve complex air ticketing and fulfilment issues, support internal and offshore teams, and contribute to improvements across systems, processes and operational performance.

This role is ideal for someone with strong GDS and ticketing knowledge who enjoys investigating problems, sharing expertise and embracing new technology.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as an escalation point for complex air ticketing and fulfilment issues, including ticket exchanges, reissues, refunds and other exceptions.
  • Support offshore ticketing teams and internal stakeholders with troubleshooting, guidance and process knowledge.
  • Investigate ticketing discrepancies, fare issues and operational data anomalies, helping ensure accuracy and minimise errors.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements to processes and workflows.
  • Work with internal teams across technology, procurement, product and operations to test changes and improve outcomes.
  • Contribute to process documentation, knowledge sharing and the ongoing development of operational procedures.
  • Explore opportunities to use AI, automation and other technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong air ticketing knowledge with a solid understanding of ticket issuance, exchanges, reissues, refunds and ticketing processes.
  • GDS experience with at least one major platform, such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo.
  • Problem-solving ability: confidence investigating issues, identifying root causes and working through solutions.
  • A collaborative approach: comfortable supporting offshore colleagues, sharing knowledge and working constructively across different teams.
  • Adaptability: open to new technology, including AI and automation, and interested in finding better ways of working.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain processes and solutions to a range of stakeholders.

Experience in a travel management company, ticketing support, air fulfilment, fares or travel operations environment will be highly regarded.

You don't need to be an AI or automation specialist. We're looking for someone with strong operational knowledge who is curious, adaptable and willing to learn.

Why Consider This Role?

  • Salary of $90,000-$105,000 + Super
  • Move beyond routine consulting into a specialist operational position.
  • Apply your ticketing expertise to complex issues and business-wide improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with local and offshore teams across a large travel operation.
  • Develop your skills across operational systems, process improvement and emerging technologies.
  • Hybrid working flexibility may be available for the right candidate, depending on experience and role suitability.
