Travel Consultant - Inbound Travel
$75K - $85K + Super | Full Time | Remote

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Travel Consultant to join this well-established inbound tour operator. In this role, you will assist in the planning and delivering itineraries, ensuring seamless travel experiences for international clients. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about inbound travel and tourism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with quoting and coordinating inbound itineraries while providing expert knowledge of the companies tour products and offerings.
• Provide expert advice on local attractions, activities, and destinations to enhance client experiences.
• Proactively monitor group arrivals, coordinate on-the-ground operations, and resolve any travel disruptions or issues as they arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service from initial contact to post-travel follow-up.
• Track deposits, payments, and confirmations.
• Support reporting, documentation, and operational processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners whilst staying informed on the latest products and experiences through research, supplier training, and industry events.

About You:

• 2+ years experience in inbound tourism/tour operations with a focus on FIT or group travel.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage client and supplier relationships.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tourism products and destinations.
• Additional language skills (German, French or Spanish) and experience liaising with international travel agents are highly regarded
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and competing priorities effectively
