An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and market-leading Conference and Incentive Travel company is now available. These roles do not appear often and this is especially rare as they will take candidates from within the Travel Industry who have consulting experience (either retail or corporate) without specifically working on events or conferences.

If you have experience within the travel industry and are looking for an exciting change or have always dreamt of moving into the conference and events space but not been able to find an opportunity to get your foot into that side of the industry then this is the opportunity for you!

You will enjoy working with a friendly, fun and supportive team and some wonderful clients. Enjoy having your weekends to yourself with this Monday - Friday, 9-5:30 position except of course for the occasions where you will have the option to travel to both domestic and international destinations with the groups you've booked!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Arrange conferences, events and incentive travel for corporate companies
*Book hotel and flight reservations for individuals and groups via reservation systems or direct with the suppliers (hotels, airlines, car rentals etc)
*Provide sales service to customers
*Corporate, Retail and Group Travel Reservations
*Potential to travel with corporate groups to conferences or incentive travel packages to ensure all on the ground operations run smoothly


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Prior experience working with Group Travel
*Customer service levels are key with a predominantly high end clientele
*Positive attitude and a strong team player
*Proficient in minimum of one GDS system (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus)
*Strong airfare/product knowledge
*Strong attention to detail
