About the role 💼
This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to July 2026, with potential for extension.
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Travel Operations Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of group travel programs. You'll coordinate logistics for both domestic and international itineraries, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless service delivery from booking through to post-travel review.

Job description 🗂️
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners
- Allocate groups to suppliers in line with quality, budget, and operational needs
- Coordinate and track bookings from start to finish
- Approve invoices and monitor budgets
- Troubleshoot issues before, during, and after travel
- Respond to itinerary and pricing queries to support the sales process
- Use product and system knowledge to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and improve internal processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate data in internal systems and databases
- Prepare reports and updates for management
- Contribute to wider business projects and initiatives

- Base salary of $70K-$80K + super

Experience required 🌏
- MINIMUM of 4 years experience in the Travel Industry, ie retail, leisure, groups.
- Knowledge of CRS and ticketing systems - highly regarded
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
- Proven ability to problem-solve and manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Passion for travel, education, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
