About the role 💼

This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to July 2026, with potential for extension.

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Travel Operations Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of group travel programs. You'll coordinate logistics for both domestic and international itineraries, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless service delivery from booking through to post-travel review.

Job description 🗂️

  • Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners
  • Allocate groups to suppliers in line with quality, budget, and operational needs
  • Coordinate and track bookings from start to finish
  • Approve invoices and monitor budgets
  • Troubleshoot issues before, during, and after travel
  • Respond to itinerary and pricing queries to support the sales process
  • Use product and system knowledge to enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop and improve internal processes and procedures
  • Maintain accurate data in internal systems and databases
  • Prepare reports and updates for management
  • Contribute to wider business projects and initiatives

Experience required 🌏

  • MINIMUM of 4 years experience in the Travel Industry, ie retail, leisure, groups.
  • Knowledge of CRS and ticketing systems - highly regarded
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and manage competing deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Passion for travel, education, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
