The Role

Step into the diverse role of Sales Manager for a brand-new channel of this well - reputed brand. You will be responsible for driving growth of an entirely new venture focussing on the inbound Australia travel market. The role of Sales Manager will be a diverse blend of Business Strategy, Sales Management, Leadership and Recruitment. You will source, interview, train, and mentor new salespeople in the Melbourne office.

Who You Are

  • Responsible for managing and delivering sales targets, including total sales, conversion targets and gross margin targets.
  • Development, support & performance of the Melbourne based sales-team.
  • Effectively manage, support, and provide guidance to the sales team to deliver their targets, ensuring suitable training, monitoring and development is provided.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • 5+ years in senior sales management roles, ideally within travel or a similar industry.
  • Strong sales experience, including meeting targets, KPIs and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, growth, and innovation in a complex industry environment.
