About the Role
This role is responsible for the end-to-end development, coordination, and delivery of group tour products, while also supporting sales and customer service functions.
Working closely with the Manager, you will plan, build, and manage tour programs, liaise with suppliers, and ensure each product is commercially viable, well-coordinated, and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities
✈️ Tour Product Development & Management
- Plan, build, and manage group tour products from concept through to delivery
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, tour operators, coach companies, and other suppliers
- Secure group allocations and negotiate competitive net rates and FOC policies
- Monitor booking levels and adjust supplier allocations where required
- Maintain accurate records of product details, pricing, and supplier agreements
💰 Pricing & Commercial Management
- Prepare detailed costings and pricing for all tour products
- Ensure products are commercially viable and competitive in market
- Work closely with the Manager to finalise pricing and margins
- Monitor performance of tours and adjust strategy as needed
📋 Client & Booking Management
- Oversee booking processes including confirmations, documentation, and payments
- Ensure timely issuing of travel documents including itineraries and tickets
- Manage payment schedules and client communications
- Coordinate additional travel arrangements for clients as required
🧭 Tour Delivery & Operations
- Finalise all tour logistics including rooming lists, itineraries, and timings
- Reconfirm all services with suppliers prior to departure
- Prepare detailed handover packs for Tour Managers
- Ensure all tours are delivered smoothly and to a high standard
📞 Sales Support & Customer Experience
- Support inbound enquiries and assist with bookings where required
- Work closely with the sales team to maximise conversion of enquiries
- Proactively promote and manage allocated tour products
- Assist with marketing activity including newsletters and promotional campaigns
About You
- Experience in product, operations, or group touring within the travel industry
- Strong knowledge of travel suppliers and contracting processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to negotiate with suppliers
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
