The Opportunity:

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Head of Travel Trade Relationships to take ownership of the B2B sales strategy. You'll be instrumental in shaping and scaling our presence across key trade channels, particularly through partnerships with travel agents and other travel businesses.

This is a pivotal leadership role that directly influences revenue growth, brand visibility, and market penetration.

A critical part of your success in this role will depend on your ability to build and maintain strong, high-value relationships with travel industry partners. These trade relationships are not only foundational to the growth of our distribution network but also essential in positioning our brand competitively within the market.

You'll lead the charge in crafting and executing distribution strategies that align with our ambitious growth trajectory.

From identifying untapped partnership opportunities to managing high-performing teams, you'll be at the forefront of our trade engagement strategy. As the trade channel continues to grow, you'll be responsible for building the right internal structure and capabilities to support it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the trade sales strategy, ensuring scalable and cost-efficient growth across all partner networks.
  • Build and sustain critical relationships with key travel businesses, including agencies, consortia, and travel management companies.
  • Consistently exceed revenue and passenger growth targets.
  • Create strong commercial frameworks, ensuring efforts are focused on the most impactful products and markets.
  • Design and implement a robust team structure, hiring and leading a group of high-performing sales and account managers.
  • Manage budgets related to marketing, commission structures, and operational overheads to ensure profitability.
  • Foster long-term, value-driven partnerships to expand distribution reach and enhance market competitiveness.

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Solid experience in trade sales, account management, or partnership roles, ideally within the Australian travel sector.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that drive tangible results.
  • Strong, established relationships with travel industry businesses and an ability to leverage these to drive performance.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, particularly in managing remote or hybrid teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - you're quick to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, with a strong sense of how to convert opportunities into measurable success.
  • Confident in navigating cross-functional collaboration and challenging the status quo to unlock growth.
  • A forward-thinking mindset that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.

Your Package:


We're offering an industry-leading package designed to attract top-tier talent and reward performance, leadership, and long-term growth.


Base Salary:
$150,000 - $200,000, with the final package based on experience and expertise.
