Job Description:

*Work with the product team to develop and steer ideas for new group packages and destinations
*Source suitable suppliers and contract for flights, cruises, hotels, coach touring and catering in Australia and overseas
*Prepare costing sheets for each tour from inception through to final approval and sale in a timely and profitable fashion.
*Ensure the management of group space allocations including, deposits, space release and final payment deadlines are clear to all stakeholders.
*Develop sharing methods for key dashboard metrics with stakeholders.
*Work with product managers to ensure marketing collateral is accurate in reflecting the tour inclusions and key selling points.
*Manage group profitability and post tour review.
*Prepare sales notes and briefing material for the sales team. Conduct live and recorded 'Workplace' videos for staff training
*Be the first point of contact in the case of a 'crisis' occurring in Australia or overseas.
*Head the 'crisis' management response team when required.
*Develop clear role requirements for each groups team manager & member in the office and in the field
*Recruit, train and manage tour managers and escorts to cover all group tours.

Experience Required:

*Group travel and group logistics experience
*Experience working within the cruising sector
*Strong GDS experience
*Have worked with a variety of back end financial systems
*Be a strong communicator and leader.
*Have accuracy as an absolute and ingrained skill.
*Develop, lead and motivate a groups team including home based staff
*A strong group's background in International travel.
*A background in a variety of groups
*Understand google sheets and formulas
