This fantastic company is located in Mackay,they are looking for an experienced travel consultant to convert their over flow of enquiries into bookings! They are looking to offer a very competitive commission structure and great educational trip opportunities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Focus around selling a wide range of travel products and itineraries.
*Using a GDS to book flights
*Up selling, cross selling products & earn even more monetary bonuses for add on's you sell
*Looking after repeat and referral business including high end clientele
*Administrative tasks & general ADHOC duties
*Must be self motivated
*Able to bring clientele

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

*Experience in the travel industry as a Travel Consultant
*An approachable mature personality & down to earth demeanour
*A willingness to work autonomously and part of a team
*Proven record to exceed KPI's, must be sales focused
*Strong geographical knowledge (Both Domestic & Internationally)
*Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
*Working GDS skills (Sabre preferred)
*Able to learn quickly and hit the ground running

THE PACKAGE:

$45-47K + Super + Commission
MATURITY LEAVE CONTRACT with the potential to go PERMANENT!!!!
