Digital Marketing & Performance Manager

Gold Coast (On-Site) | $120,000 - $150,000 + Super | 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract

This is not a campaign coordinator role.

We are seeking a data-driven, analytically minded digital leader to take ownership of performance strategy, budgets, and team delivery across a multi-brand portfolio.

You will lead digital marketing across 13 brands and 15+ websites, managing a team of six, optimising campaigns, and using data and insights to drive measurable revenue outcomes. This is a 12-month maternity leave contract, stepping into a well-established function with full accountability from day one.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy across three business units, using insights to maximise enquiries and bookings
  • Analyse multi-channel campaign performance (SEM, paid social, display, video, email, sponsored content) to optimise ROI and conversion
  • Manage and optimise digital budgets across 13 brands to achieve efficient cost-per-enquiry and revenue outcomes
  • Oversee GA4 and Tag Manager across 15+ websites, delivering actionable performance insights
  • Lead and mentor a team of six, balancing strategy, execution, and professional development
  • Drive website improvements and user experience optimisation across WordPress platforms
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align digital investment with commercial priorities
  • Deliver clear, data-focused reporting to inform decision-making and guide optimisation

This role is fast-paced, highly analytical, and commercially accountable - ideal for candidates who thrive on numbers, insights, and measurable impact.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

  • 6+ years senior-level digital marketing experience
  • Proven ability to translate data into performance improvements and commercial results
  • Hands-on expertise across paid channels and performance optimisation
  • Experience managing multi-brand digital budgets
  • Demonstrated leadership of a digital marketing team
  • Advanced analytics and reporting skills (GA4 essential)
  • Comfort with multi-site environments and complex campaign tracking

Travel industry experience is welcome but not essential.

This role is not suitable for candidates with only executional or specialist experience.
