We're partnering with a leading travel management company seeking an ambitious Corporate Travel Business Development Manager to drive growth across Australia and New Zealand. The Role
As the Corporate Travel Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the mid-market sector. You'll own the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and contract close, playing a key role in the company's ongoing growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target prospective mid-market corporate clients across Australia and New Zealand
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound sales activity
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract execution
- Conduct discovery meetings and develop tailored travel solutions for prospective clients
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases
- Manage RFP and tender submissions where required
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close deals aligned with company objectives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reporting

You're a motivated, commercially minded sales professional who loves the challenge of winning new business. You are confident engaging senior decision-makers, uncovering opportunities, and turning prospects into long-term clients.
You'll Bring
- Proven success in a business development, sales, or hunter-focused role
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
- Experience managing complex sales processes from prospecting through to close
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling capabilities
- A consultative, solution-based sales approach
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
- Corporate Travel experience is required for this role
