Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel | Brisbane
$90K + Super + Lucrative Commission OTE $130k++ | Boutique Travel Management Company
This isn't a traditional travel BDM role.
A well-established boutique corporate travel management company in Brisbane is looking for a true new business hunter to join their growing team.
If you thrive on prospecting, cold calling and opening doors, this is an opportunity to build a strong pipeline and convert new corporate clients into long-term partnerships. You'll play a key role in expanding the company's footprint while earning highly attractive commission from the business you bring in.
This role will suit someone who enjoys the thrill of winning new accounts, building relationships with decision-makers and turning opportunities into loyal corporate clients.
The Role
- Identify and secure new corporate travel accounts through proactive outbound sales activity
- Build pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals and targeted outreach
- Engage with key decision-makers including Procurement, Finance and Operations leaders
- Understand client travel programs and present tailored travel management solutions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements and close new business opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business sales targets
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in B2B business development or sales
- A hunter mentality and confidence generating new opportunities through outbound activity
- Corporate travel sales experience is highly desirable, but strong B2B hunters from related industries will also be considered
- Comfortable with high levels of prospecting and cold outreach
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, resilient and driven to win new business
