Inside Sales, Groups & Pricing Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily operations which will include coordinating with the pricing team at the head office.
- Monitor competitor activities.
- Ensure all fares are informed to the trade in a timely manner.
- Monitor validity of the fares and take necessary actions in consultation with the sales team.
- Attend to all GDS queries in a timely manner.
- Respond to trade and consumer enquiries, and work GDS queues.
- Coordinate and assist to process group reservations.
- Provide operational support to the sales team, which may include putting together point of sale material, assistance with events, coordinating presentations and compiling content for newsletters.
- Build a friendly and credible rapport with the travel trade and key travellers.
- Complete all reporting requirements accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain databases.
Skill & Experience:
- Previous experience working with an airline travel agency or, consolidator.
- A thorough knowledge of pricing, airfare construction, airline terminology and procedures, Amadeus system and ticketing is mandatory.
- Firsthand knowledge of the travel trade sector and distribution in Australia.
- The candidate will ideally have a formal qualification in travel and tourism, IATA fare construction, air tariffs and ticketing.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A commitment to customer service with an exceptional phone manner.
- A proven ability to problem solve.
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint.

A competitive salary package of circa $65k + super
