Established under 10 years - this brand has opened it's doors in AUS end of 2016 with a handful of consultant & now they have over 100 staff members in their Australia offices!! Operating in over 7 countries and counting.... Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced travel industry professional with sound knowledge of ideally Galileo to be the airfares group expert!


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of group airfare management

Key functions include, however are not limited to,
* Paying deposits and balances accurately and within contracted timeframe.
* Monitoring all group revenue by way of maintaining centralised Log.
* Completing appropriate health checks & cleanses throughout group lifecycle.
* Maintaining strong commercial relationships with key external stakeholders.
* Tracking Airline revenue by way of an accurate log. Responsible for sourcing competitive, customer focused fares + seeking appropriate internal approvals.
* Co-ordinate & take ownership of internal department relationships. Closely working with the department heads.
* Accurately recording all transactions in back office system as well as adhering to strict finance procedures.
* Actively remaining apprised of Aviation market developments in Asia Pacific


SKILL SET REQUIRED:

* Self-driven & positive attitude
* Excellent knowledge of AIR / fares guru
* Advanced GDS skills (ideally Galileo, but others will be considered for the right candidate)
* Strong attention to detail
* A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
* Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
* Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
* Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
* Able to work extended hours on occasions when required (You will need to work on call 1 in every 4 weeks - you will be paid extra penalty rates whilst working the extra shifts)
* Must be adept in use of Microsoft office suite
* Must have good organisational skills
* To be able to communicate relevant information across the business when necessary


THE PACKAGE:

* A salary package of $65k will be offered to the right candidate. Extra income can be made in this role by taking on more on call support.
