As a Travel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving direct sales initiatives to increase revenue and expand the client base. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships. Your goal will be to promote travel services, exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to generate leads and acquire new clients through direct sales channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, including travel agencies, corporate clients, and individual travellers.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create compelling sales materials and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices to remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in business development
- Track record of success in direct sales is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, and develop effective business strategies.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
