I am looking for an India & Sri Lanka travel industry expert.

Due to significant growth our client is seeking a successful Product Manager, ideally someone who can take ownership and responsibility to development products in this boutique travel business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main areas of responsibility for this position as a Product Manager is to ensure all aspects relating to managing enquiries, liaising with suppliers and overseeing marketing, promotions, sales and improvements.

Duties:

• Manage workflow for future marketing and promotional plans
• Liaise with internal departments
• Maintain existing relationships with key suppliers
• Business development which includes sales calls and presentations
• Source India & Sri Lanka products for development and campaigns
• Attend travel trade shows

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Travel industry experience ideally in a product management or sales management role or strong travel reservations - Open to varied levels of experience if extensive destination exposure is present
• Excellent understanding of India & Sri Lanka including having visited these countries multiple times
• Excellent communications skills
• Prospecting experience
• Working destination knowledge - India & Sri Lanka knowledge

THE PACKAGE:

Very competitive salary + super of $70 - 95k + super depending on experience
