Even though there is a HUGE focus on Customer Service, you will still need to have confidence in closing a file and upsell & cross sell products by explaining the features & benefits of those products.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Working in a supportive retail agency, selling international and domestic travel packages to your community based clients with high enquiries through those that are more mature travellers
*Using a GDS to book flights
*Up selling, cross selling products & be driven to earn your KPI and commission
*Looking after repeat and referral business including VIP clienteles
*Administrative tasks & general ADHOC duties (no office admin! the managers take care of all that!)



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


- Experience in the Travel industry as a Travel Consultant - MIN experience 18 months however, ideally 2 plus years.
- Worked or have worked in a retail agency (recently)
- An approachable personality & down to earth demeanor
- Driven mentality, love providing good customer service but also closing a sale
- Good geographical knowledge
- Ideally, good selling knowledge of products such as Trafalgar, APT, Scenic, Insight, AAT Kings etc.
- GDS skills (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)
- Able to adapt, learn quickly



THE PACKAGE:

System training will be provided to the right candidate with a competitive salary structure on offer
Working predominately MON-FRI with the occasional Saturday one in every 3 for 3 hours (9am - 12noon)

You will have a flexible work environment & jovial manager. Most of the consultants in the store are all experienced (5 plus years travel industry knowledge) so they will be able to provide alot of support.
