Our client, a travel agency in the Eastern suburbs, is looking for an experienced travel consultant to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

• Create complex itineraries for clients including but not limited to airfares, hotels, tours, cruise, car hire and travel insurance
• Provide excellent customer services via different channels including in-person, telephone, online and email
• Prepare and issue travel documents, ensuring clients are made aware of any scheduling changes pre and mid-trip
• Keep up to date on travel news, trends, travel regulations and other relevant information that may affect current and future travel arrangements

Requirements:

• Experience in the travel industry with working knowledge of a GDS and back-office system (Galileo and Crosscheck preferred)
• Ability to create complex itineraries
• Capable and dynamic with a good work ethic
• Ability to work in a fully office-based environment, Monday-Friday 10am-5pm

Package:

• Full-time or Part-time available
• $70-75,000 per annum (Full-time equivalent) + super + uncapped commission
