Job Description:

*This role will report directly into the CEO
*This role will have 7 direct reports all heads of departments, including finance, sales, account management, technology, marketing, operations & head of experts
*Responsible for leading and managing the operational and sales teams
*Identifying gaps in overall business productivity and improve processes within the business
*Responsibility for the entire In-house portfolio which includes; client retention, client engagement and ROI on the company's commercials with each client.
*Responsibility to lead the Technology and Implementations team as well as define business objectives in their department. Support the Technology and Implementations manager in key technology relationships like Serko, Travelport and Tramada.
*Overseeing the relationships and strategic side of the product function within the business.
*Ensuring that our product offering is competitive and unique. This includes all airlines, hotels and car hire partners.
*You will be expected to help grow the company business via relationships, new business and the recruitment of travel experts even though this is not your primary function.
*Responsibility to lead and manage the marketing coordinator, approving external communications as well as driving positive trade media exposure with our media partners.
*Responsibility for driving commercial outcomes
*Enforce company policies and approval of expenses and budgets.
*Responsible for the finance team, and ensuring that compliance deadlines are met.
*Management of the sales team, ensuring that targets are achieved and effective communication of the company's value proposition is accurately conveyed

Experience Required:

*The right person for this role will be someone who has already successfully run a travel business and delivered on growth and KPIS with in the business.
*Can work to deadlines and under pressure.
*Can nurture a team environment and an already much loved culture.
*The successful person will need to be able to multi-task and be across a multitude of departments, so prior exposure and first hand experience in these departments is important.
*Previous 10+ years experience with in the corporate travel industry
*Proven exposure and ability in running a successful business
*Experience working in a business environment wearing multiple hats are required
*Experience in coaching and developing a team across multiple functions
*Understands the importance of developing and maintaining client relationships.
*Passionate about the travel industry & leading an experienced team
