A progressive & strategically innovating corporate travel organisation looking for a superstar to fill a newly created position reporting to the Head of department.

This role is all about working collaboratively and supporting your team in a safe environment where there is NO judgement. Our clients are all about work life balance & a culture to match that. You will ensure your team takes their lunch breaks, have regular coffee /tea breaks whilst ensuring if they need to leave the office early to "walk the dog" or to meet an appointment, they have that flexibility!


DUTIES:

Your job will be to motivate & support 4 consultants (all experienced in travel and corporate travel) plus help grow the team to a team of 6 by 2020

You would have success in transacting with your own client portfolio and able to think outside the box to identify gaps and had experience in providing solutions for your own clients when required.

You will be given your own account (capped to $1 million) to manage so you can keep current in the industry and by only working on smaller accounts, you will have enough time to support & develop your consultants on a daily basis. You will assist in any overflow work whilst a consultant might be on leave or on training days and the same support will be provided back to you!


Your other duties will include:

Escalation, KPI's, keeping on top of back-office, aged debt, increase margins,
queue management, fares & product loading, liaising with Account Management, managing phones and delegating inboxes, annual leave rosters, identifying areas of learning and training, monthly catch-ups, monitoring SOH reports, assist with reconciliations, covering breaks


EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Experience working on your own corporate travel accounts currently or most recently
Have had success in leading a team / or relief team leading experience
Tramada experience is a an advantage. Working knowledge on a day to day basis
Ideally 7+ years experience in travel industry.
Able to think outside the box & identify gaps where needed
Organised, able to keep ontop of your work load but also take control of managing your team
Have a passion to grow the business
GDS experience
