From a HR perspective, you will be working closely with the Global HR Director in the UK & provide expert opinions & knowledge of the Australian HR compliance & payroll procedure ideally in a sales environment.

Looking after a team of 80 employees in the Australian division, your nurturing but sensible nature along with your understanding of the Australian legislative framework is what will see you flourish in this role.



JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ideally you will come from a Call Centre HR background with a good understanding of the sales commission structure, award rates etc which will be imperative going forward.

Able to work autonomously is very important in this role whilst being able to provide support within an Matrix organisation.

You will make sure the legislative framework is sustainable and mitigate any adverse actions. Being that point of call for all employee rated duties including contracting & support.
This role will see you delve deep into data integrity, compliance, employee relations and legislation changes.




REQUIREMENTS:

** MIN 3 years experience in the HR industry, with at least 1 year experience in a more Senior HR advisor / Generalist role. This role could be really good for someone wanting a new challenge where no two days are the same.

** Extensive knowledge of the Australian employment law and good practices in HR

** The ability to deal effectively with rapid change and be comfortable adjusting and amending plans and strategies to accommodate new opportunities and respond to events

** Ability to remain calm under pressure

** Experience in working for a company that deals with commission / sales structure of their employees (favourable)

** Able to find out any information that you don't know by taking a proactive approach in investigation

** Able to work a MIN of 3 days per week (potentially up to 4-4.5 days per week - this can be discussed depending on individual requirements)

** Able to conduct a global conference call to the UK HR Director at least once a week at approx 6pm / 7pm QLD time from home or office




THE PACKAGE:


If you do your job well & with a good attitude, you could be moved up the ranks quite quickly and be given more responsibilities.
You will also be given the opportunity within your first couple of months in this role to travel to the UK to see how the operations work in their GLobal HQ.

A salary of approx $90,000 - $110,000 + super FTE is on offer for the right candidate. Even though there is slight room for negotiation, this particular role is seeking someone with hands on experience that will fall within that salary bracket for the day to day operational duties.
