JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Negotiate global cruise rates
* Develop & Implement product strategies
* Work on margins and profits
* Have solid understanding of cruise package rates
* Develop budgets and financial targets
* Problem solving
* Identify key stakeholder groups
* Use appropriate analytical tools
* Clearly communicate key business outcomes
* Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the travel industry
* Develop strategies for managing suppliers
* Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis
* Build long-term relationships with negotiating partners
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel and ability to learn new systems
* In conjunction with Systems, Operations and Product Load work to facilitate a seamless booking solution for both wholesale and retail consultants.
* Management and resolution of incidents and problems relating to the support and delivery of dynamic product
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Previous Product Management / Procurement experience in the cruise sector
* Solid understanding of cruise packages
* Sound communication skills
* Computer literate
* Public speaking and presenting experience
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Experience developing strategies
* Results driven
* Extensive Wholesale experience
* Ability to build relationships with partners
* Ability to work in a team
* To be analytical and commercially aware
* Have experience working to financial budgets
* Sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
* An appreciation of both IT and business strategy
