A Cruise Product and Marketing Consultant is required to join a leading provider of travel and cruise. You will be required to maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to increase develop innovative and new cruise packages for this award winning company. I am looking for someone who can work autonomously and be creative and inventive in their role.
Duties:
-Developing attractive and competitive cruise packages including land, air and cruise
-Working with international and domestic destinations
-Managing relationships and negotiating competitive pricing with all suppliers (land, cruise and air)
-Overseeing management of groups and charter operations
-Working with marketing colleagues to promote product
-Assisting with EDM creation and distribution
-Ensure accuracy of online content including imagery and copy.
-Training and supporting telephone sales with ability to successfully sell product
Experience Required:
-Ideally a minimum of five plus years in the travel industry and experience working with a cruise brand
-Experience in product development and management of international destinations
-Experience in supplier management and price negotiations
-Experience in marketing communications preferable
-Strong problem solving ability
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve issues independently
-Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines
-Detailed knowledge of the cruise industry essential for this niche role
