Within the last 2.5 years since the company has opened it's doors in Australia, they have gone from strength to strength having strong business growth projections over the next 5 years, my clients are looking for a driven individual to grow with the business and take on new challenges within this newly formed division.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working within the Customer Service team and reporting directly to the Amendment & Upgrade Supervisor, you will be making calls to existing clients prior to their travel provide them with options of upgrading by cross selling & upselling features & benefits & build a solid relationship with key customers.

This role is ALL about selling the added benefits and explaining to the customers the pros and cons of those products. For example - Why Premium Economy VS Economy. Why Outside Balcony cabin vs Inside Cabin..

Whilst this is the forefront of the task, by adding extra benefits will in turn help boost your margin, $ per file & profit to the business which is where your KPI targets are based out of.

You will also provide any relevant information prior to travel on their booking & proactively solving any customer issues whilst maintaining high standard of service at all times.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You will be dealing with all packages including cruise, flights & accommodation. Even though you don't need to have done this type of role before, an understanding of the cruise market will be beneficial but not essential however, Travel industry experience in a consulting role / or similar to, will be highly regarded.

We would also consider someone from a strong sales background (call centre based) that might have an invested interest in stepping into the world of travel


THE PACKAGE:

You will get a well deserved base salary of $53k + super & incentives structure based on your KPI's
An average consultant will earn approx $15k per annum more ontop of your base salary.
Your base salary does get reviewed 1-2 times per annum.


HOURS OF WORK:

9:00am -5:30pm Monday to Friday only with very occasional weekend or weeknight work as required. - Get your weekends back.
