Seeking an experienced sales person with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets/KPI's to join a global travel management company as a Business Development Manager. Relationship building is a key aspect of the role and candidates should have a professional phone manner and not be afraid to go beyond their comfort zone in order to generate leads. The ideal candidates will have B2B sales experience, a sound knowledge of the travel industry and be highly motivated with a positive attitude.

It's not going to be easy but well worth it! This role isn't your standard role, you'll be growing the brand through Melbourne in a newly created role!

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Grow business and brand awareness by building strong client relationships.
- Travelling state wide to build the brand in new locations.
- You'll be generating leads and developing your own sales pipeline.
- Prospect for leads at industry events, networking events and inbound inquires.
- Provide weekly sales reports to Management.
- Provide and present proposals to Management and prospective business partners.
- Maintain customer details and communication updates in the CRM.

ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years in Sales or Business Development Roles
- Proven track record in Successful business relationship development & maintenance
- Established solid network within the travel industry
- Exceptionally high level of business acumen
- Excellent presentation skills
- Unrestricted drivers licence and own vehicle

ABOUT THE BENEFITS:

- $70,000-$80,000 salary plus Super
- Bonuses + comission based on performance
